The Founder of The Renal Project Mr. Shashank Moddhia has 15 years of multinational experience as quality assurance expert in ISO 9001:2015. The entire operations are as per the sections and guidelines of ISO 9001: 2015 Quality System Standard with well defined internal standard operating procedures. The Renal Project has onboard its own medico-legal team to ensure safe, effective and tension-free operations.
Shashank Modhia
After spending about a decade in United States and managing the Asia Pacific region for kidney care products, Shashank realized that his knowledge and expertise were more required in the hinterlands of India instead of in the cabin of a multi national company. The ground work began with a 3 month collaboration with Ashwini Kidney Dialysis Center-Nagpur, under the mentorship and guidance of renowned Nephrologist Dr. Dhananjay Ookalkar. The solutions to challenges and opportunities related to patient care, cost effective management and improved internal processes began and took shape.
Ananthaprakash Thiyagarajan
Ananthaprakash creates and leads the technology vision of the organization from his profound knowledge of AI and a thorough understanding of the challenges in the healthcare industry. He specializes in bringing early technologies/innovations to market, Advanced Algorithms, DevOps, ML, DL, Blockchain, AI, Cloud, and SaaS with truly disruptive technology. With 50+ successive delivery of products in various domains, he is a hands-on versatile leader who is fascinated to solve the pain points of the dialysis industry with state-of-the-art solutions. Passionate about building lean, talented, cohesive, and motivated products that add value to the society.
Jitesh Pednekar
With 14 years of hands on experience as a dialysis technician and having performed more than 30,000 sessions himself, Jitesh is raw talent who understands the in and out of dialysis facility management. He comes from a humble background and his heart aches to achieve something significant in the field of kidney care.
As passionate about healthcare, he is compassionate about his patients, a perfect blend for the “Patient First” philosophy of The Renal Project™.
Dr. Hardik Shah
Dr. Hardik Shah is a consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician at the Bombay Hospital. He is also an Assist. Professor in Nephrology and an examiner at MUHS. Also Scholar-International Society of Nephrology-Singapore, Fellow–Nephrology and Hypertension, Ottawa-Canada and Specialist in Clinical Hypertension-USA. He has more than 25 publications in Textbooks and National & International Journals.
Dhananjay Ausarmal
With over 8 years experience in quality control, manufacturing, lean process management, training and process improvement, Dhananjay left a cosy corporate 9-6 job and joined The Renal Project to look after standardisation and management of quality while we are scaling at fast speed.
Hetu Parekh
With more than 13+ years of experience in Marketing & Sales, she helps a brand ensure publicity & fluidity. Working across industries from Equity, IT, Healthcare as well as Advertising agency has helped her build in-depth market understanding of consumers, local customer brands and market dynamics. Being a strategic partner on various projects and understanding technical and financial aspects of any given project gives her an edge to develop pro-active concepts for any given market. She has got the credentials of building & maintaining great customer relationships as well has set to be a perfect leader for driving & motivating teams. She believes that ‘no single approach is going to work for any individual or a brand' so she tweaks it accordingly and approaches it to be a ‘win – win’ solution at all times.
Kruti Shah Ved
With over 12+ years of Marketing & Digital experience, she is business savvy and a customer-focused professional with proven acumen to liaise with key decision-makers. Her top management skills have steered her canon the digital marketing solutions. While understanding the critical business drivers in multiple markets and industries, she delivered business-changing results to ambitious clients whilst sharing her proficiency amongst the broader industry through training and services.
Gauri Koltharkar
With over 18 years experience in accounting, taxation and people's management Gauri was the correct fit to understand the challenges of a startup, set up systems and compliances, and make sure the company grows and functions smoothly.
Sakshi Sawant
Sakshi is a certified nurse and a certified dialysis technician. Despite her limited support system, Sakshi, a wife and mother, effectively manages her family and work commitments in a truly professional fashion.
She currently manages the Mumbai based locations and credits her performance to the support she gets from her husband.
Seeing her outstanding patient care, people management and organizational skills, she was rapidly promoted from an admin to being the site manager where the on-duty technicians directly report to her.
She is one of the luckiest finds for The Renal Project™.
Adv. Darshan Modi
With a penchant for social cause and patriotism, Darshan handles all the legal documentation for The Renal Project™ as well as organizing fundraisers and social cause events. His expertise and knowledge is an indenspensible part of The Renal Project™ in order to achieve success in its mission.
Bhuvaneshwari Shankar
Bhuvaneshwari Shankar is a Chartered Accountant and also holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from the University of Madras. She has worked with the Big4s namely Price Waterhouse & Coopers and Ernst & Young LLP in the areas of Audit, Tax and Transfer pricing. It was always her dream to set up her own practice and support start-ups and entrepreneurs with the technical skill sets gained over 9 years of experience with audit firms in the industry. Finally, in the year 2017, she took the big decision to quit the corporate world and set up her own practice under the trade name Shrividya Bhuvaneshwari & Associates, Chartered Accountants.
